NEW Digital Download Art Prints! Abstract Art Instant Download Art Modern Contemporary Large Prints
New "Digital Downloadable Print" collection...
I have had a massive amount of requests for my original abstract and contemporary artworks to become available in prints. Unfortunately, I never had the time as I'm always covered in paint in my art studio 24/7 so I decided to open "Urban Dwelling Gallery" digital downloadable print shop. Now all of my listings are available as instant downloads, printable in a range of standard frame sizes to suit your needs. You can print them at home, upload to an online printing service like shutterfly or take them to your favorite printing shop.
Along with wide variety of digital graphic designs, photography and illustrations in the shop, most of the artwork is from my original, modern, abstract and contemporary paintings. I have also decided to incorporate my illustrations as well.
This collection has just opened so please bare with me, I will be uploading new items everyday :)

Sky Whitman painting featured on NBC comedy series "The Good Place" airing 9/2016
I was so incredibly excited and very grateful when a wonderful set designer from Universal Studios California contacted me about featuring my artwork on the main set of a new TV comedy series titled "The Good Place" starring Ted Danson and Kristen Bell airing September 2016.
I set my DVR to record the pilot and I kept getting the FORKING dates wrong but this was no problem because I could count on my DVR to take care of it for me right? WRONG! It recorded but somehow it only recorded the 3rd show, NOT the pilot. I was panicked that I wouldn't find it but thank goodness for on demand! I started watching the show and I loved it, it was such a fun story, Ted Danson and Kristen Bell are simply awesome as always.
I had no idea where my painting was located on the set and sure enough 18 min in a blitzed Kristen Bell starts tossing jumbo shrimp out of her bra, as she goes to her bedroom and THERE IT IS, above her dresser! Did I scream when I saw it? Nahhhhh I am wayyyyy to cool for that, JUST KIDDING I dorked out royally and did the happy dance! And oddly enough started craving jumbo shrimp!
Thanks so much to Dianna for choosing my artwork and thanks to all of my friends and family for your incredible support and snaps :P
Cheers & Smiles + a hug

When A Photographer Is Snap Happy
Fun photo shoot in South Beach Florida...
FIRST, I would like to start by saying this was back in the cretaceous period when I was in my mid 20's.
These images are of me hiding in an alley for a quick outfit change and then back to the boardwalk on the beach for more shoot time. Needless to say the photographer loved taking natural shots and I wasn't going to fight his artistic ways :-)
My shyness is the same today as it was back then. Typical me with my head down hiding behind my hair. Ha well, my photos today are the very same pose or shall I say the anti pose!
I truly didn't think I would miss the ocean so quickly after only living in the desert for 6 months now. I MISS IT and YES I'm completely forgetting what grass looks like YIKESABEE!
Need a Florida visit NOW!
First Blog Post - THAT DAY that changes our lives...
We have all woken up on a day that we we'll never forget, it's THAT DAY that changes our lives forever. About ten years ago THAT DAY happened for me when I decided to become a full time artist for a living. Ever since then, when I step into my art studio to start my day, I smile and realize that this is what I was meant to do and I can't imagine ever doing anything else. I want to thank my epic clients for your support, fantastic emails and for keeping me busy doing what I love.
